This Feeling ....

This Feeling ..........

The journey called life took a twist,
When I heard whats amidst
They say a tiny cell you were
But I could feel you very near

From then life entered a transformation
And each day was no less than a celebration
As you grew inside I too grew with you
Learning to nurture myself with you

The day I heard your first cry
To my ears it was a melody of Joy
And when I saw your first glimpse
My eyes just refused to blink

The joy of having you in life
Was more than I could ever describe
And the sleepless nights went long
We spent them consoling each along

Very soon you were standing upright
All you wanted was appreciation for all might
You took the first steps so gracefully
 Fearlessly walking, then running swiftly.

Your endless stories and songs
I love to listen and sing along
We laugh, we play throughout the day
Your love keeps all sorrows at bay

You gave a new meaning to our lives
And added so many reasons to smile
Our hearts are woven together so deeply

But I still can't express 'This feeling'

Opportunity and success:

An opportunity is defined in dictionary as "a situation or condition favourable for attainment of goal".

But the question is how far are we really able to utilize a knocking opportunity? Some of us are so busy in our lives that we dont even realize that the door is being knocked , some can hear the knocking sound but find it difficult to find which door it is, while some open the right door but fail to persue the road presented ahead....

Success is relative !! Some may consider the fulfilment of their goal as success, some keeping themselves away from risks / failures / downfalls as success, some might even consider fulfilment of others goals as their success...

I always thought that one day I will be able to say proudly that I was successful ..but going through various phases of life I have realised that it is becoming difficult for me to say that and that success is nothing but a notional feeling.

I very much feel that it is diificult to know that the choice of goal that one is making will yield the right results after  n number of years. This makes me feel that success is while one chooses the right goal ...and.not after accomplishing it.. !! What we feel after its accomplishment is the feeling of relief or happiness :)

Why blog?

In this digital era where distances hardly matter due to the e-connect in the form of chats, facebook statuses, scraps etc. blog is yet another way to connect. But my sole purpose to blog is to connect to myself :). How? by writing down about the things that influence me or rather my reaction to the happenings around me. I could have written a diary but as I said... in this world where we spend more time on internet that anywhere else i felt this is a better mode...So welcome to My SPACE...!!
